BOMA NEVADA COMMITTEES



ADVOCACY/LEGISLATIVE

BOMA Nevada is committed to staying abreast of state and local government laws that may affect its members. With the creation of the Advocacy Committee, BOMA Nevada will now play a major role in representing our organization with the various municipalities. GOLF

This committee plans and coordinates BOMA Nevada's annual Golf/Putting event and is responsible for selecting the location, procuring sponsors, promoting and coordinating all activities on the day of the event. The event includes over a hundred participants and serves as a fun opportunity to develop closer relationships with other BOMA members.

EDUCATION & PROGRAMS

The Education and Programs Committee research program topics and speakers for our monthly Southern Nevada breakfasts and the quarterly Northern Nevada Luncheons. Additionally, they seek to increase the level of specialized knowledge available to members interested in attaining a designation. BOMA Nevada encourages participation and provides professional certifications through BOMI International. To find out more or to join this committee, contact our representative below.

    COMMUNITY OUTREACH

    The mission of the Community Outreach Committee is to create, initiate and coordinate community outreach programs throughout the local community. The committee contributes annually to a charitable cause targeted at the community at large. Committee members encourage and facilitate community service throughout the property management industry.     MEMBERSHIP

    The Membership Committee is responsible for sustaining and increasing current membership, as well as encouraging members to take the next step in participation within the organization. Committee members meet with prospective members, serve as mentors to new members and accompany new members to meetings.They also organize networking mixers and other member-only events throughout the year.

    TOBY AWARDS

    Responsible for planning, organizing and hosting the annual TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Awards. This committee chooses an annual theme, secures sponsorships, recruits nominees, and promotes the event to our members and the real estate community.
